skillet sloppy joe’s

Ingredients:

1lb Ground Beef

1 Pack of Pillsbury Biscuits

1 Tablespoon Butter

1/2 Cup of Onion Chopped

1/2 Cup of Bell Pepper Chopped

1/2 Cup of Carrots

3 Cloves of Garlic

1/2 Cup of Ketchup

1 Cup of Tomato Sauce

1 Tablespoon of Brown Sugar

1 Teaspoon of Yellow Mustard

1 Teaspoon of Worcestershire Sauce

1 Teaspoon of Italian Seasoning

Salt + Pepper to taste

Instructions:

Preheat oven as directed on the biscuit packaging.

Add butter to a deep pan and melt.

Brown the beef and break apart as you go.

Add the onion and bell peppers until the onion is translucent. Should take 5 minutes.

Add garlic and cook for another few minutes.

Add rest of the ingredients into the pan and stir to combine. Bring to a boil.

Add extra ingredients based on flavor. Sometimes I add more brown sugar or Worcestershire sauce.

If the consistency of the mixture is too-liquid, take cornstarch and mix in water to create a mixture. Pour into the mixture to thicken.

Take pan off heat. Add the biscuits to the top and bake based on the directions on the label.

Take out of the oven and serve!

Enjoy
