opa’s flank steak

Paying homage to our Opa. This flank steak is perfect for summer bbq’s or when you need a warm hug during winters. Serve as is or as steak tacos, steak sandwiches, or any other ways you like to prepare. Sharing a little bit of his kitchen magic with you! You will need to marinate the steak for a day to have the flavors in this recipe to come to life.

Ingredients

1/2 cup olive oil

1/2 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup red wine vinegar

1/4 cup honey

3 tbsp lemon juice

2 tbsp worecester.

2 tbsp Dijon mustard

2 tbsp shaved ginger root 

3 minced cloves of garlic

3 sprigs of rosemary

Instructions

Add ingredients to a blender and add into a pyrex tray big enough to fit the cut of meat.

Marinate flank steak in mixture for no less than 24 hours and up to 3/4 days.

Take meat of out of the fridge for an hour before grilling.

Place cut of meat on the grill, cook for 5 min on each side or however you like your meat prepared.

Once you take the meat off the grill, let it sit for 15 minutes before slicing.
